Removing
1. Raise the car on a lift.
2. Turn away two nuts and remove bolts, washers and rubber plugs from racks of the stabilizer with spherical hinges.
3. Remove the cotter pin and loosen the castle nut a few turns.
4. Release the strut pivot using tool LRT-57-018 as shown.
5. Remove the castle nut and remove the strut.
Installation
1. Install the stand and screw on the castle nut. Make sure the ball joint strut is facing up. Tighten the nut to 40 Nm and install a new cotter pin.
2. Connect the anti-roll bar to the uprights.
3. Screw in bolts, install washers and rubber bushings, and screw in new self-locking nuts to secure the anti-roll bar to the uprights. Tighten the fasteners to 68 Nm.
4. Lower the car.
