Removal


1.
CAUTION: Never work on a vehicle supported solely by a jack. Always support the vehicle securely.


Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the wheels and tires assemblies.

3. Disconnect both struts from the stabilizer bar. Unscrew the 2 nuts.

3. Disconnect both struts from the stabilizer bar. Unscrew the 2 nuts.


4. Remove the lower engine guard. For more information, refer to Engine Guard (76.10.50)

5. Remove the front axle crossmember. Unscrew 4 bolts.

5. Remove the front axle crossmember. Unscrew 4 bolts.


6. Remove the stabilizer bar bushing. Unscrew the 4 nuts. Remove the stabilizer bar clamps.

6. Remove the stabilizer bar bushing. Unscrew the 4 nuts. Remove the stabilizer bar clamps.


7. Remove the anti-roll bar. Pull the stabilizer bar out through the left wheel arch.



Installation


1. Install the stabilizer bar. Insert the stabilizer bar through the left wheel arch.

2. Install the stabilizer bar bushing. Install the stabilizer bar clamps. Tighten the nuts. (tightening torque 115 Nm).

3. Install the front axle crossmember. Tighten the 4 bolts. (tightening torque 115 Nm).

4. Install the lower engine guard. For more information, refer to Engine Guard (76.10.50)

5. Attach both struts to the stabilizer bar. Tighten the nuts. (tightening torque 115 Nm).

6. Install the wheels and tires together. Tighten the wheel nuts. (tightening torque 140 Nm).
