Thrust of the front stabilizer bar (Discovery 3)

Removal

1.

CAUTION: Never work on a vehicle supported solely by a jack. Always support the vehicle securely.

Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.

3.

CAUTION: To prevent the ball joint from turning, use the supplied Allen key.

Remove the anti-roll bar. Unscrew and discard the 2 nuts.

Installation

1. Install the stabilizer bar strut. Tighten the nuts. (tightening torque 115 Nm).

2. Install the wheel and tire assembly. Tighten the wheel nuts to 140 Nm (103 lbs/ft).
