Removal


1. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Disconnecting and connecting the battery (414-01 Battery, Battery Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).

2. Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner (303-05 Accessory Drive - ID4 2.4L Diesel Engine, Removal and Installation).

3. Remove the air conditioning compressor pulley housing.
  • Remove the nut.
  • Remove two bolts.

Remove two bolts.


4. Remove the accessory drive belt.

4. Remove the accessory drive belt.


Installation


1. Reinstall the components in reverse order. Clean the belt pulleys and inspect them for damage.

2. Connect the ground wire to the battery.
