Accessory Drive Belt 4.0L (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Remove the viscous fan assembly. For more information, refer to Cooling Fan (26.25.19)

3. Release the accessory drive belt. Turn the accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise.

4. Remove the accessory drive belt.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Clean and inspect the drive pulleys for damage.



2. Connect the ground cable to the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.
