Accessory Drive Belt 2.7L (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Remove the cooling fan. For more information, refer to Cooling Fan (26.25.19)

Note: Turn counterclockwise with a 3/8-inch wrench.

Remove the accessory drive belt. Loosen the belt tension.

Installation

1. When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order. Clean the belt pulleys and inspect them for damage.
