Removal


1. Remove the compressor drive belt.

AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM, REPAIR WORK, Compressor drive belt - Td6 engine.


2. Remove the fan viscous coupling.

COOLING SYSTEM: Td6, REPAIR WORK, Viscous fan clutch.


3. Using a 24mm socket and turning the tensioner counterclockwise, remove the belt from the engine…

3. Using a 24mm socket and turning the tensioner counterclockwise, remove the belt from the engine coolant pump pulley. Loosen the tensioner.

4. Loosen and remove the accessory drive belt from the remaining rollers.

Installation


1. Check the drive belt pulleys and rollers for damage.

2. Make sure the compressor pulley and drive belt are clean.

3. Install the drive belt on the rollers.

4. Rotate the tensioner counterclockwise, install the belt and release the tensioner. Make sure the belt fits the rollers correctly.

5. Install the fan viscous coupling.

COOLING SYSTEM: Td6, REPAIR WORK, Viscous fan clutch.


6. Install the compressor drive belt.

AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM, REPAIR WORK, Compressor drive belt - Td6 engine.
