Ignition switch (Range Rover 3)

Removal

1. Remove the center console.

CAR INTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Center console.

2. Disconnect the locking device cable from the ignition switch housing.

3. Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors from the ignition switch and immobilizer coil. Remove the ignition switch.

NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.

4. Release and remove the immobilizer coil from the ignition switch.

Installation

1. Install and secure the immobilizer coil to the ignition switch.

2. Connect the electrical connectors to the immobilizer coil and ignition switch.

3. Connect the locking device cable to the ignition switch housing.

4. Reinstall the center console.
