Removal


1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

2. Remove the accessory drive belt.

4. Remove the hex bolt that secures the upper idler pulley of the accessory drive belt. Remove the pulley.

5. Unscrew the nut securing the wire to the generator, release the wire and move it to the side.

6. Disconnect the connector with the electrical cable.

7. Unscrew the 2 bolts securing the generator to the bracket, remove the generator together with…


7. Unscrew the 2 bolts securing the generator to the bracket, remove the generator together with the bracket for securing the rollers.

Installation


1. Install the generator on the mounting bracket.

2. Install the tension roller bracket on the generator and tighten the mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts to 45 N·m.

3. Connect the cable connector.

4. Connect the battery cable to the generator, screw on the nut and tighten it to a torque of 13 N·m.

5. Install the upper drive belt tension roller, tighten the bolt and tighten it to 25 N·m.

6. Install the power steering pump in place and tighten the mounting bolts. Tighten the M8 bolts to 25 N·m and the M6 bolts to 10 N·m.

7. Install the accessory drive belt.
