1. Carefully release the 7 fasteners securing the luggage compartment door trim to the body. Remove the decorative trim.

CAUTION: Always take care not to damage paint or glass when removing trim panels.


NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.


2. Remove the 7 fasteners from the tailgate trim.

3. Mark the position of the 4 adhesive tabs on the pad, remove them and discard.

Assembly


1. Place the adhesive fasteners on the overlay in the previously marked places.

2. Install the remaining fasteners onto the overlay.



3. Clean the tailgate to remove any remaining adhesive.

4. Remove the protective tape from the adhesive fasteners, place the cover on the luggage compartment door and secure the fasteners. Check that the adhesive fasteners are pressed correctly.
