Dismantling


1. Remove the decorative trim from the upper part of the luggage compartment door.

2. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the spoiler to the trunk door.


2. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the spoiler to the trunk door.

3. Disconnect the connector from the wiring harness.

4. Close the upper tailgate.

5. Slide the spoiler towards the rear of the vehicle and release it from the clips. Loosen the CHMSL wire harness on the rear door and remove the spoiler.

NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.


6. Remove the 4 screws securing the high brake light to the rear door, separate the wiring harness from the spoiler and remove the light.

Assembly


1. Install the high brake light and wiring harness into the spoiler and secure with screws.

2. Install and secure the spoiler to the tailgate, tighten the screws to a torque of 10 Nm.

3. Open the upper tailgate.

4. Connect the cable connector.

5. Install the upper tailgate trim.
