Dismantling


1. Remove the bumper beam.

6. Support the exhaust pipe and remove the 4 nuts securing the exhaust pipe rubber loops.

7. Lower the exhaust pipe to gain access to the tow bar frame mounting screws.

8. Loosen the 4 screws securing the towing device frame to the body and, with the help of an assistant, remove the towing device frame.

Assembly


1. With the help of an assistant, install the towing device frame, tighten the screws and tighten them to a torque of 165 N·m.

2. Position the trailer power socket on the frame, install the screws and tighten them to 25 Nm.

3. Install the exhaust pipe on the rubber rings, tighten the mounting nuts and tighten them to a torque of 25 N·m.

4. Install the ball joint socket to the towing hitch frame. Install the bolt and nut and tighten it to 300 N·m.

5. Insert the towing joint socket retaining pin.

6. Install the bumper beam.
