Dismantling


1. Remove the front radiator grille.

2. Remove the screw securing the wheel arch liner to the bumper and repeat the operation on the other side of the car.

3. Release the lock and remove the front towing eye cover.

4. Remove the 6 screws securing the lower fairing to the engine guard.

5. Unscrew the 2 screws securing the bumper to the bumper beam.

6. Unscrew the 4 screws securing the bumper to the bumper beam shelf.


6. Unscrew the 4 screws securing the bumper to the bumper beam shelf.



7. With the help of an assistant, carefully lift and slide forward each side of the bumper to release the clips.

CAUTION: Always take care not to damage the paintwork before removing/installing trims, panels or bumpers.


8. Disconnect the connector blocks from the fog lights.

9. For vehicles equipped with parking assistance sensors: Disconnect the 4 connector blocks.

10. Remove the front bumper.

NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.

12. Remove the 4 screws securing the front license plate panel and remove the panel.



13. Remove the bezels of both bumper lights.

14. Remove the ultrasonic sensors from the bumper, loosen the latches and separate the sensor from the trim.

15. Unscrew the 3 screws securing the right bumper light. Repeat the operation for the left light.

16. Remove the 2 screws securing the bumper extensions, release the clips and extensions.

Assembly


1. Connect the parking assistance sensors to their pads, install the sensors into the bumper and secure with clips.

2. Install the bumper extensions and secure them with screws.

3. Install and secure the bumper lights and their rims.

4. Install the license plate mounting panel onto the bumper and secure it with screws.

5. Install the registration plate.

6. With the help of an assistant, install the bumper assembly onto the bumper beam.

7. For vehicles equipped with parking assistance sensors: Connect the connector blocks.

8. Attach the pads to the bumper lights.

9. With the help of an assistant, install the bumper assembly onto the beam.

10. Make sure that the bumper mounting tabs fit into the corresponding grooves.

11. Install and tighten the screws securing the bumper to the beam and to the engine guard.



12. Install and tighten the screws securing the mudguard to the bumper fairing and to the engine guard.

13. Install the towing eye cover and secure it.

14. Reinstall the front radiator grille.
