Removal


1.
CAUTION: Never work on a vehicle supported solely by a jack. Always support the vehicle securely.


Raise the vehicle and place it on supports.

2. Remove the fender moldings. For more information, refer to Front Fender Molding (76.43.54)

3. Remove 14 screws from the front bumper trim.

4.
NOTE: Some liquid will inevitably spill during this operation.


Remove the front bumper cover.
  • Disconnect 2 electrical connectors.
  • Disconnect the headlight washer hose from the washer pump.
  • Allow the liquid to drain into a container.

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the part is removed only for access.


Remove the headlamp washer nozzles. For more information, refer to Headlamp Washer Nozzle (84.20.08)

6. Remove the parking assistance sensors.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector.
  • Release the 2 clamps.
  • Repeat the above procedure with the remaining three sensors.

7. Remove the parking assist sensor wiring harness. Remove the 9 mounting straps.

8. Remove the headlight washer nozzle hose. Release the 5 clamps.

Installation


1. Install the headlight washer nozzle hose. Engage the 5 clamps.

2. Install the parking assist sensor wiring harness. Install the mounting straps.

3. Install the parking assist sensors. Connect the electrical connectors of the parking assist sensors.

4. Install the headlamp washer nozzles. For more information, refer to Headlamp washer nozzle (84.20.08)

5. Install the front bumper cover.
  • Connect the electrical connectors of the parking assist sensor harness.
  • Connect the headlight washer hose to the washer pump.
  • Screw in the screws.
6. Install the fender moldings. For more information, refer to Front Fender Molding (76.43.54)
