Removal and installation the front bumper (Discovery 3)

Removal

All cars

1. Remove the front bumper cover. For more information, refer to Front Bumper Cover (76.22.72)

Cars with dynamic suspension

2. Disconnect the front air suspension valve block from the bumper.



All cars

3. Remove the windshield washer reservoir. Unscrew the 2 bolts.



4. Remove the front bumper. Unscrew the 8 bolts.

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the part is removed only for access.

Remove the front bumper air intake.

Installation

All cars

1. Install the front bumper air intake.

2. Install the front bumper assembly. Tighten the bolts. (tightening torque 25 Nm).

3. Secure the windshield washer reservoir. Tighten the 2 bolts. (tightening torque 10 Nm).

Cars with dynamic suspension

4. Attach the front air suspension valve block to the bumper.

All cars

5. Install the front bumper cover.
