Checking the position of the roof hatch (Discovery 3)

1. With the hatch panel closed, adjust the position of the glass in relation to the hook. The glass should be located in the center of the hatch opening. The position of the hatch in relation to the body:
  • The front edge is installed flush or recessed to a depth of up to 1.0 mm.
  • The front edge is installed flush or raised to a level of up to 1.0 mm.
2. Open the sunroof curtain.

3. Loosen the 6 Torx head bolts of the opening roof panel.

4. Align the hatch.
  • Tighten the Torx head screws (tightening torque 6 Nm).
5. Close the sunroof curtain.
