Roof hatch seal (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the covers from the front supports of the side rails.

2. Remove the 4 Torx bolts securing the front side rail supports.

3. Remove the front and rear roof trims.

4. Remove the glass panels and T-bar.

5. Remove the inner hatch seal.

6. Starting from the corners, remove the seal located between the roof and the gutter.

7. Remove the gutter seal.

Installation

1. Apply the seal to the roof.

2. Starting at the corners, install the seal between the roof and the gutter.

3. Install the inner seal.

4. Install the T-bar and glass cover.

5. Install the decorative roof trims.

6. Make sure the side rail gaskets are in place. Replace the rails and secure with the Torx bolts. Tighten the bolts to 22 Nm.

7. Install the side rail support pads.
