Front water drainage pipes of the sunroof ventilation of a 5-door car (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the headliner.

INTERIOR TRIM DETAILS, REPAIR WORK, Ceiling panel for a 5-door car.

2. Remove the screw and 5 Torx screws from the carpet mounting strip and remove the strip.

3. Release the water drain pipe from its mounting on the wheel arch bushing.



4. Disconnect the drain pipe from the hatch and discard the clamp.

5. Tie a cord to the tube and pull out the tube.

Installation

1. Tie a string to the tube to secure the tube in place.

2. Connect the drain pipe to the hatch and secure it with a clamp.

3. Connect the water drain pipe to the wheel arch bushing.

4. Secure the wheel arch bushing.

5. Install the carpet mounting strip. Secure it with Torx screws and a self-tapping screw.



6. Install the headliner.
