Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the upper part of the timing belt cover.
ENGINE - MODIFICATION K, volume 1.8, Front exhaust camshaft oil seal, Upper timing drive cover.
3. Remove the lower engine guard.
EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Lower engine protection shield.
4. Remove the crankshaft pulley.

5. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the lower part of the timing belt cover to the cylinder block and remove the cover.
Installation
1. Wipe the bottom of the front timing belt cover.
2. Install the cover, making sure the rubber seal is in the correct position.
3. Screw in the bolts securing the lower part of the timing belt cover and tighten them to a torque of 9 Nm.
4. Install the crankshaft pulley.

5. Reinstall the lower engine guard.

7. Connect the negative battery terminal.
