Checking oil pressure (Freelander 1)

1. Unscrew the oil pressure sensor contact.

ENGINE - MODIFICATION K, volume 1.8, Front exhaust camshaft oil seal, Oil pressure contact sensor.

2. Add oil if necessary.

MAINTENANCE, Engine oil and oil filter - K1.8.

3. Use the LRT-12-052C pressure test kit. Attach the adapter and pressure gauge to the oil pump.

4. Measure the oil pressure while idling.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS, Engine - petrol K1.8.

5. Turn off the ignition.

6. Remove the pressure gauge and adapter.

7. Wipe away any oil stains.

8. Install the oil pressure sensor.

ENGINE - MODIFICATION K, volume 1.8, Front exhaust camshaft oil seal, Oil pressure contact sensor.

9. Add oil to the gearbox.
