Front engine protection (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Raise the car on a lift.



2. Release the lock and remove the front towing eye cover.

3. Remove the 6 screws securing the lower fairing to the engine guard.

4. Remove the 2 screws securing the lower fairing brackets to the bumper.



5. Carefully bend the lower fairing to access the 4 screws and remove them.



6. Remove the 2 screws securing the inner edge of the left mudguard to the engine guard, repeat the operation with the right mudguard.





7. Unscrew the remaining 6 screws securing the guard, release and remove the guard.

NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.

8. Remove the 6 threaded pins from the protection shield.

Assembly

1. Install threaded pins into the protection.

2. Install the protection on the car and secure it with screws.

3. Install the screws securing the lower fairing and the left and right side mudguards.

4. Install the towing eye cover and secure it.
