Headlight mounting panel (Range Rover 3)

The headlight mounting panels are secured with screws, there are no welds.

Dismantling

1. Remove both headlights as an assembly.

LIGHTING, REPAIR WORK, Headlight assembly.

2. Remove the right and left hood locks.

3. For diesel vehicles: Remove the fuel cooler air duct.

4. Remove the 3 bolts securing the radiator grille to the hood lock panel.

5. Remove the lock panel mounting screws and remove the panel.

6. Left side: Remove the horn

7. Left side: Remove the air duct.

8. Right side: Remove the right bumper bracket.

9. Right side Remove the windshield washer reservoir.

WINDSHIELD WIPERS AND WASHERS, REPAIR WORK, Combined windshield/headlamp washer reservoir.

10. Right side: Remove the power steering fluid cooler.

STEERING, REPAIR WORK, Working fluid cooler-Power steering-Td6.

Repair works

1. Remove damaged panels, prepare joint edges and install new panels in accordance with the Rules for Repair of Body Panels.

Assembly

1. Right side: Install the power steering fluid cooler.

2. Right side: Install the windshield washer reservoir.

WINDSHIELD WIPERS AND WASHERS, REPAIR WORK, Combined windshield/headlamp washer reservoir.

3. Right side: Install the right bumper bracket.

4. Left side: Set the horn

5. Left side: Install the air duct.

6. Install the hood lock panel and tighten the mounting screws.

7. Install and tighten the 3 screws securing the radiator grille to the hood lock panel.



8. For diesel vehicles: Reinstall the fuel cooler air duct.

9. Install the right and left hood locks.

10. Install both headlights as an assembly.
