Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative plug from the storage battery.
CAUTION: After turning off the ignition, wait two minutes before disconnecting the battery.
Failure to do so may damage the navigation system computer.
2. Remove both headlight assemblies.
LIGHTING, REPAIR WORKS, Headlight assembly.
3. Remove the front bumper.
EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Front bumper assembly.
4. Release the 4 flexible clips securing the washer hose to the body and move the hose to the side.
5. Disconnect the headlight, headlight wiper, headlight washer and horn connectors from the hood latch panel assembly.
6. Remove the two screws securing the bumper beam extension and remove the extension from the bumper beam.
7. Remove the fasteners securing the radiator inlet pipes to the bumper support brackets.
8. Turn out 3 screws of fastening of the left support of a bumper. Repeat the operation for the right support and remove it.
9. Diesel vehicles: Remove the 2 screws securing the fuel cooler inlet fitting to the hood latch panel.
10. Move the nozzle to the side.
11. Turn out screws of fastening of a radiator in gathering from the panel of the lock of a cowl.
12. Turn out 4 screws of fastening of the panel of the lock of a cowl to internal panels of wings.
13. Cut and discard the flexible clips securing the coolant expansion tank hose to the hood latch panel.
14. For the left side only: Remove the screw that secures the washer reservoir to the headlight mounting panel.
15. Remove the 4 screws securing the lower outer shelf of the hood latch panel assembly to the inner fender panels.
16. With the help of an assistant, carefully release and remove the hood latch panel assembly.
Assembly
1. With the help of a second person, position the hood lock panel assembly on the vehicle body.
2. Install and tighten by hand the screws securing the hood lock panel assembly to the body, set the position of the panel and tighten the M8 screws with a torque of 25 Nm, and the M6 screws with a torque of 10 Nm.
3. Install the radiator assembly by connecting it to the hood latch panel with the mounting screws.
4. Install the bumper beam on the body, tighten the screws and nuts and tighten the screws with a torque of 10 Nm, and the nuts with a torque of 45 Nm.
5. Install the washer reservoir screw to the headlamp bracket and tighten the screw to 3 Nm.
6. Secure the cables with cable ties.
7. Install and secure the bumper mounting brackets, tighten the screws with a torque of 3 Nm and install the clips.
8. Attach connector blocks.
9. Install the extension and tighten the screws to 10 Nm.
10. Position the washer hose on the bumper beam and secure it with new clips.
11. For vehicles with a diesel engine: Position the fuel cooler inlet pipe on the hood lock panel, install the screws and tighten them to 3 Nm.
12. Position the coolant expansion tank hose and secure it to the hood latch panel.
13. Reinstall the front bumper.

14. Install both headlight assemblies.
LIGHTING, REPAIR WORKS, Headlight assembly.
15. Attach the negative plug to the storage battery.
CAUTION: After connecting the battery, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and all the way to the right with the engine running. This will allow the dynamic stabilization system (DSC) restore coordination with the steering angle sensor. Failure to do so will result in the activation of several instrument panel warning lamps.
