Removal


1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

2. Having remembered the installation position, unscrew the nut securing the wiper lever mechanism…


2. Having remembered the installation position, unscrew the nut securing the wiper lever mechanism and disconnect the mechanism from the electric motor.

3. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the mounting plate to the wiper motor.

4. Disconnect the connector from the electric motor.

5. Remove the electric motor.

Installation


1. Position the motor on the mounting plate, install the bolts and tighten them to 10 Nm.

2. Connect the block to the electric motor.

3. Connect the ground cable of the battery.

4. Turn the ignition switch to position II. Turn off the ignition, making sure that the electric motor is in the parking position.

5. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

6. Attach the lever mechanism to the electric motor, install the nut and tighten it to a torque of 25 N·m.



CAUTION: Make sure the motor is aligned with the linkage.


7. Connect the ground cable of the battery.
