Tailgate Windscreen Wiper Motor (Range Rover 3)

Removal

1. Remove the rear wiper arm.

WINDSHIELD WIPERS AND WASHERS, REPAIR WORK, Windshield wiper arm for the luggage compartment door.

2. Disconnect the washer tube from the wiper motor.

3. Disconnect the pads from the wiper motor.

4. Remove the 3 Torx screws securing the rear wiper motor to the tailgate.

5. Remove the electric motor from the glass seal, remove the electric motor assembly.

6. Remove the seal from the glass.

NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.

7. Remove the stoppers from the rubber mounts, remove and store the rubber mounts in a safe place.

Installation

1. Install rubber supports and insert limiters.

2. Install the new glass seal.

3. Install the motor assembly onto the tailgate, install and tighten the Torx bolts to 10 Nm.

4. Connect the wiring connectors.

5. Connect the washer tube to the wiper motor.

6. Install the wiper arm.
