Windscreen wiper lever (Range Rover 3)

Removal

1. Open the hood.



2. Remove the protective cover of the nut on the wiper arm and unscrew the nut.

3. Remove the wiper arm from the shaft.

NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.

4. Remove the wiper blade.

Installation

1. Install the wiper blade.

2. Install the arm assembly onto the shaft, thread the nut on and tighten it by hand. Position the LRT-84-001 on the windshield between points "A" and "B" of the wiper arm. Align the wiper arm so that the angle between the windshield and the wiper face is 86°.





3. When setting the angle to 86°, ensure that the wiper arms are positioned correctly according to the dimensions below.

Passenger side "C" = 58 mm.
Driver's side "D" = 40.5 mm

4. Measurements should be taken from the edge of the windshield seal to the wiper blade sponge located next to the wiper blade axis.

5. Tighten the wiper arm nut to 34 N·m.

6. Install the nut protective cover.

7. Close the hood.
