Parking brake switch (Defender 2007+)

Removal

1. Remove the cover from the parking brake lever.

2. Remove the two bolts and disconnect the parking brake lever from the body.

3. Release the connector on the parking brake switch.

4. Remove the 2 screws securing the parking brake switch sensor to the parking brake lever and remove the switch.

Installation

1. Install the parking brake switch sensor to the parking brake lever and tighten the screws.

2. Install the electrical connector to the parking brake switch sensor.

3. Install the parking brake lever and tighten the bolts to 22 Nm.

4. Install the cover on the parking brake lever.
