Adjusting the position of the lower tailgate (Range Rover 3)

Examination

1. Check the uniformity of fit and gaps in relation to adjacent body panels. If there are deviations, make the adjustments discussed below.

Adjustment

1. Open the trunk door.



2. Loosen the two screws securing the lower door bumper.

3. Close the door and ensure uniform fit and clearances in relation to adjacent body panels.

4. Open the lower door again and tighten the bump stop mounting screws to a torque of 25 Nm.

5. Close the tailgate/
