Front door window lifter (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Remove the front door glass.

2. Disconnect the connector from the window lift motor.

3. Remove the clip securing the cable to the door amplifier.

4. Remove the Torx screw and clip securing the window regulator to the door amplifier.

5. Remove and discard the 2 lower screws securing the window regulator to the door frame.

6. Remove the 3 Torx screws securing the window regulator to the door frame and remove the window regulator through the opening in the door.

Assembly

1. Install the window regulator into the door and disconnect the intermediate rod from the glass guide.



2. Install the upper mounting screws and retainer and tighten the screws to a torque of 10 N·m.

3. Install the new lower screws and tighten them to 10 Nm.

4. Install the window lift cable retainer.

5. Connect the block to the electric motor.

6. Install the door glass.
