Dismantling


1. Remove the 2 Torx screws securing the inner panel to the upper tailgate.


1. Remove the 2 Torx screws securing the inner panel to the upper tailgate.

2. Carefully release the 11 fasteners securing the panel to the door.

3. Disconnect both rear light connector blocks.


3. Disconnect both rear light connector blocks.

4. Disconnect the upper door manual release cable from the interior panel.

5. Remove the door panel.

NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.


6. Remove both lamps and retaining clips from the door panel.

Assembly


1. Install the lamps and clips on the door panel.

2. Connect both rear light connector blocks.

3. Connect the manual door opening cable.

4. Install and secure the upper tailgate panel.
