Side body panel threshold and B/C sections of the central pillar (Range Rover 3)

This procedure covers the replacement of the sill and the "B/C" sections of the center pillar of the side body panel.

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Disconnect the generator.

3. Remove all parts and assemblies that are dismantled when replacing the side body panel sill section.

Side body panel - threshold section.

4. Remove the headliner.

Repair works

1. Remove damaged panels, prepare joint edges and install new panels in accordance with the Body Panel Repair Rules. Punch or drill holes in the panel to be installed for the plug weld, as shown in the figure.

Assembly

1. Install the headliner.

CAR INTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Ceiling.

2. Reinstall all parts and assemblies that are removed when replacing the side body panel sill section.

3. Connect the generator.

4. Connect the negative battery terminal.
