Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the lower engine guard.

3. Using a 16mm wrench, turn the tensioner clockwise and remove the drive belt from the compressor pulley.
4. Remove the compressor drive belt.
Assembly
1. Make sure the transmission pulleys are not damaged or dirty.
2. Put the belt on the crankshaft pulley, move the tensioner back and, holding it, put the belt on the compressor pulley. Release the tensioner and check if the belt is positioned correctly on the pulleys.
3. Reinstall the engine guard.

4. Connect the negative battery terminal.
