WARNING: DO NOT perform tests on a two-wheel roller stand when the rollers are driven by a vehicle. Details of the road test on the roller stand,
1. Check the correct operation of the ignition switch. Make sure the engine starts correctly. Leave the engine running.
2. With the vehicle stationary, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock. Check for smooth operation and check for excessive noise from the power steering pump or drive belt.
3. Depress the clutch and engage all gears in turn. Check up smoothness and noiselessness of inclusion of transfers.
4. Carry out a short road test on the vehicle. Check the correct operation of all vehicle systems. Pay special attention to the following points:
- Manual gear selection.
- Gear selection/noise - high/low range.
- Steering for abnormal noise/force.
- Steering for play.
- Noise in the engine
- Noise or vibration in transmission
- Noise or abnormal suspension behavior
- Body noise
- Brake system operation
- Engine operation
- Increased exhaust smoke.
- All instruments, indicators and control lamps.
- Heater and air conditioning system.
- Fully extend the seat belt and check the operation of retraction and locking. Locking the inertial belts when they are suddenly pulled out or the car is on a slope.
- Seat tilt and lock.
5. Check up correct work of all devices and control lamps.
6. After the road test, perform a final inspection of the vehicle while it is on the flyover.
7. Check the level of all operating fluids under the hood and top up if necessary.
