Removing
1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery.

WARNING: It is forbidden to carry out work on a vehicle standing on only one jack. Always support the vehicle with jack stands.
Raise the car and place stands under it.

3. Remove the fuel line support bracket. Remove the nut.
4. Disconnect the starter harness clamp.
5. Disconnect the 2 positive battery wires and switch wire from the starter solenoid.
- 1. Remove the battery positive cable nut.
- 2. Loosen the starter switch wire nut.
6. Remove the lower starter bolt.
7. Remove the starter.
Installation
1. Install the starter. Tighten (tightening torque 35 Nm).
2. Tighten (tightening torque 35 Nm).
3. Attach the 2 positive battery wires and switch wire to the starter solenoid.
- 1. Tighten (tightening torque 12 Nm).
- 2. Tighten (tightening torque 8 Nm).
4. Clip the starter wiring harness clamp.
5. Install the fuel line support bracket. Tighten (tightening torque 8 Nm).
6. Connect the wire "masses" to the battery.
