Starter (MPi engine) (Discovery 1)

1. Disconnect the battery.



2. Unscrew the two nuts securing the traction relay wires and disconnect the wires.



3. Unscrew the three starter mounting bolts.

4. Remove the starter from the flywheel housing.

5. Remove the starter from the side.

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order. The tightening torque of the starter mounting bolts is 45 Nm.
