Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APP) — Removal and Installation (Defender 2007+)

Removal

NOTE: The accelerator pedal position sensor is integrated with the accelerator pedal assembly and must not be disassembled.

1. Using assistance, release the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor from the bulkhead. Remove the two bolts.



2. Remove the APP sensor. Disconnect the electrical connector of the APP sensor.

Installation

1. Install the elements in place in the reverse order. Tighten (tightening torque 25 Nm).
