Removing
CAUTION: Use caution when working near hot exhaust system components.
1.
WARNING: It is forbidden to carry out work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Be sure to place secure supports under the vehicle.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the diesel flue filter differential pressure sensor electrical connector (DPF).
3. Release the DPF differential pressure sensor. Release the clamp.
4. Disunite an electric socket of the gauge of temperature of the fulfilled gases DPF.

CAUTION: Install suitable supports under the exhaust system.
Disconnect the 6 hangers for the exhaust system.
6. Remove the DPF rear heat shield. Turn out four bolts.

NOTE: Discard gasket.
Move the silencer assembly with the exhaust pipe.
- Remove three nuts.
- Remove the bracket.
8. Remove the front DPF heat shield. Turn out three bolts.
9. Remove DPF. Loosen the nut.

NOTE: Do not proceed with further disassembly if the element is removed only for access.
Remove the DPF Exhaust Temperature Sensor. Release the wiring harness from the two clips.
Installation
1. Install the DPF exhaust gas temperature sensor.
- Tighten to 35 Nm.
- Attach the wiring harness to the clamps.
NOTE: Do not fully tighten the clamp at this stage.
Install DPF.

NOTE: Install a new gasket.
Attach the muffler assembly to the rear exhaust pipe.
- Install the bracket.
- Tighten the nuts to 48 Nm.
- Attach the exhaust system hangers.
5. Install DPF heat shields. Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm.
6. Attach the DPF differential pressure sensor.
7. Connect the DPF differential pressure sensor electrical connector.
8. Dock the electrical connector of the DPF exhaust gas temperature sensor.
