Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

2. Remove the lower trim panel of the "A" pillar, left side.

3. Fold back the edge of the floor trim for easier access.

4. Remove the upper control unit mounting screw rivet and carefully release the control unit from the lower rivet.

5. Release and disconnect the connector from the control unit and remove it.

Installation

1. Install the control unit and connect the connector.

3. Install the lower trim of the "A" pillar.
