Brake light central upper (Range Rover 3)

Removal

1. Remove the upper rear door trim.

DOORS, REPAIR WORK, Panel trim - upper luggage compartment door.

2. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the spoiler to the rear door.

3. Disconnect the connector from the wiring harness.

4. Close the rear upper door.

5. Slide the spoiler towards the rear of the vehicle and release it from the clips. Loosen the high-mounted brake light harness on the rear door and remove the spoiler.

NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.

6. Remove the 4 screws securing the high brake light to the rear door, remove the wiring harness fasteners from the spoiler and remove the light.

Installation

1. Install the high brake light and wiring harness into the spoiler and secure with screws.

2. Install and secure the spoiler to the rear door, tighten the bolts to 10 Nm.

3. Open the rear upper door.

4. Connect the cable connector.

5. Install the upper rear door trim.
