Brake light switch (without ABS) (Discovery 1)

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Remove the lower trim panel.

3. Press the brake pedal to access the switch.

4. If installed, remove the rubber boot from the switch.

5. Unscrew the switch mounting nut.

6. Remove the switch.

7. Disconnect the wires.

8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

9. Check that the switch is working properly.
