Please note: the modulator is supplied in shockproof packaging with an installation date. The modulator is filled with brake fluid.
Removal
1. Review the diagram of the brake system, see section "Description".
2. Review the brake pipe routing diagram.
3. Check the expiration date of the new modulator on its packaging.
4. Disconnect the battery.
5. Disconnect the modulator wiring connectors.
6. Mark the brake pipe connection locations.
7. Disconnect 8 brake pipes.
8. Unscrew the modulator mounting nuts.
9. Replace the modulator support cushions if necessary.
10. Installation is carried out in reverse order. The tightening torque for the tube fasteners is 15 Nm.
11. Check the operation of the ABS using the TESTBOOK tester.
