Dismantling


1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the intake manifold gaskets.

3. Disconnect the connector from the EGR solenoid valve.

4. Unscrew the 2 bolts securing the modulator bracket to the cylinder block.

5. Label and disconnect the vacuum hoses.

5. Label and disconnect the vacuum hoses.


6. Unscrew 2 nuts and remove the EGR system modulator from the mounting bracket.

Installation


1. Install the modulator on the bracket and secure it with nuts.

2. Install the modulator, connect the marked vacuum hoses to it and tighten the bolts to a torque of 10 Nm.

3. Connect the connector to the EGR system modulator.



4. Install the intake manifold gaskets.

5. Connect the negative battery terminal.
