Dismantling
1. Place the vehicle on a four post lift.
2. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
3. Remove a noise-insulating casing of the engine.

4. Release from collars a wire plait of the forward oxygen gauge.
5. Loosen and disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
6. Remove the middle section of the exhaust system with silencer.

7. Turn away 3 bolts and remove the left heat-shielding screen.
8. Turn away 2 bolts and remove the right heat-shielding screen.
9. Disconnect the rear oxygen sensor wiring harness from the mounting brackets.
10. Release and disconnect a socket of the back oxygen sensor.
11. Turn away 2 bolts of a cross collar of exhaust pipes and remove a collar.
12. Turn away 2 nuts of fastening of a neutralizer, remove a neutralizer and utilize a lining.
NOTE: If disassembly was carried out only to provide access to other elements of the system, then further disassembly operations should not be performed.
13. Tag both oxygen sensors and remove them from the converter.
Installation
1. Clean oxygen sensors and mating surfaces.
2. Install both sensors and tighten them to 55 Nm.
3. Wipe down the neutralizer and mating surface.
4. Install the converter with a new gasket, screw on the nuts, but do not completely tighten them.
5. Install the collar, screw in the bolts, but do not tighten them completely.
6. Connect the rear oxygen sensor connector and secure it to the bracket.
7. Secure the harness in the clamps.
8. Reinstall the heat shields and tighten the fastening bolts to 10 Nm.
9. Establish the average section of final system with the muffler.

10. Tighten the nuts securing the converter to the manifold. Tightening torque 50 Nm.
11. Tighten the clamp bolts. Tightening torque 10 Nm.
12. Connect the front oxygen sensor connector and secure it to the bracket.
13. Secure the harness in the clamps.
14. Replace the soundproof cover.

15. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
