If it is necessary to replace the electronic control unit, then before disconnecting the battery, it is necessary to connect the Testbook / T4 and perform the recommended sequence of actions.

Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

Removal


1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

2. Remove the hatch in the trunk on the right side.

3. Remove the 2 trailer ECU mounting nuts.


3. Remove the 2 trailer ECU mounting nuts.

4. Loosen and disconnect the shoe.

5. Remove the trailer ECU.

Installation


1. Position the trailer control unit near the mount and attach the connector.

2. Install the trailer control unit and secure with nuts.

3. Install the hatch back into place.

4. Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
