WARNING: It is strictly forbidden to work inside or under a vehicle supported only by a lift (jack). In all cases, the vehicle must be supported on safety stands.

2. Unscrew 5 wheel nuts and remove the wheel.

CAUTION: Never use a high pressure cleaning tool to clean wheels with TPM sensors installed.

3. Remove the tire from the wheel rim.

CAUTION: To avoid damaging the TPM sensor, the tire bead should be pressed from the opposite side of the wheel valve.

4. Remove the wheel valve from the disc and save the washer.

2. Install the Torx bolt and adapter onto the sensor and tighten the bolt with your fingers.

3. Carefully install the TPM sensor onto the wheel rim, install the washer and wheel valve, tighten the valve to 3.5 N·m.

CAUTION: Do not exceed the tightening torque value. This will damage the sensor.

4. Insert the guide supplied with the valve into the adapter.

5. Make sure the sensor is correctly positioned in the wheel rim and tighten the Torx bolt to 3.5 Nm.

CAUTION: Do not exceed the tightening torque value. This will damage the sensor.

6. Remove the guide from the adapter.

7. Install tires and balance the wheels.

8. Replace the wheel and tighten the nuts to a torque of 140 Nm.

9. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.

10. The initialization process must be performed in the following cases:
  • The air pressure in the tires has been adjusted.
  • The TPM system sensor has been replaced.
  • The wheel arrangement has been changed, i.e. the wheels have been rearranged, or a spare wheel has been installed.

11. To initialize the TPM system, turn the ignition key to position "II", press and hold the TPM system button until the SET TYRE PRESSURE message appears on the instrument panel. (approximately 4 seconds). The system has been initialized.
