Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the cover and disconnect the connector from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.

2. Remove the 2 screws securing the absolute pressure sensor to the intake manifold.

3. Remove the sensor from the manifold.

Installation

1. Wipe the pressure sensor and mating surfaces on the intake manifold.

2. Install the pressure sensor on the intake manifold and tighten the mounting bolts.

3. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.

4. Replace the connector cover.
