Body Control Unit (BCU) (Range Rover 3)

If the Body Control Unit (BCU) needs to be replaced, the Testbook/T4 must be connected and the recommended steps must be followed before disconnecting the battery.

Before disconnecting the battery, carefully read the "Disconnecting the Battery" section and follow all instructions therein.

Removal

1. Follow all safety rules when working with the airbag system.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Safety precautions when working with the airbag system (SRS).

2. Remove the front passenger seat.

SEATS, REPAIR WORK, Front seat.

3. Loosen the 2 screws securing the cover and remove it.



4. Loosen and disconnect the 3 connectors from the BCU.



5. Remove the BCU.

Installation

1. Install the BCU and connect the pads.

2. Install the cover and secure it with the screw clamps.

3. Install the front seat.
