Electronic immobilizer control unit (Range Rover 3)

If it is necessary to replace the electronic control unit, then before disconnecting the battery, it is necessary to connect the Testbook / T4 and perform the recommended actions.

Removal


1. Remove the center console.
CAR INTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Center console.


2. Loosen the bolt securing the immobilizer control unit to the gear selector support element.


2. Loosen the bolt securing the immobilizer control unit to the gear selector support element.

3. Release the immobilizer ECU from the mount and disconnect the wiring connector.

4. Remove the ECU.

Installation


1. Install and secure the immobilizer ECU to the gear selector support member. Tighten the bolts to 3 N·m.

2. Connect the wiring harness to the immobilizer ECU.

3. Reinstall the center console.
