Low-freezing liquid of the engine cooling system
Only low-freezing liquid is allowed to be used (AFC) made by Texaco. The basis of this low-freezing liquid is ethylene glycol. The liquid does not contain methanol. To protect against corrosion, additives are added to the liquid - corrosion inhibitors based on silicon compounds (without phosphorus).
CAUTION: If you do not have Texaco antifreeze fluid, an ethylene glycol based antifreeze fluid with non-phosphorus silicon based corrosion inhibitor additives may be used.
In accordance with the maintenance schedule given in the Service Book, it is necessary to drain the coolant, flush and refill the cooling system.
After filling the cooling system, attach a plate to the vehicle indicating the type of coolant filled. This is to ensure that the correct type of coolant is used when topping up.
Brake fluid
Use only DOT 4 brake fluid.
Power Steering Fluid
Use only Texaco Cold Climate PSF 14315 Special Hydraulic Fluid.
Air conditioner
Use only HFC-R134a refrigerant.
Special oil used in the air conditioning system
Use only NipponDenso ND-oil 8.
The special oil used in the air conditioning system is very hygroscopic. It cannot be stored for a long time. Do not pour unused oil back into the container.
NOTE: The total amount of oil in the A/C system is 110 cc (3.8 fl oz).
CAUTION: Do not add other types of oil to the A/C system.
