General procedures
NOTE: This procedure is only necessary for switches equipped with a locknut instead of a threaded spacer.
1. Move the differential lock selector fork to the differential lock position.
2. Connect a test light and a 12V battery to the differential lock indicator switch.
3. Turn the switch in until the test lamp lights, then turn the switch in another 1/2 turn; tighten the lock nut.

4. Disengage the differential lock and ensure that the test lamp goes out.
5. Remove the test lamp.
